Art-rockers Junk Drawer have hit us with their latest single, ‘Suspended Anvil’. The name itself screams of aggression and power, but it’s actually a kaleidoscopic piece of psychedelic pop that wanders between floaty textures and into thick, impressive walls of sound. Field recordings and explorations of different genres help the band put a unique stamp on their sound. “The idea was to conjure up something otherly as a ‘sound world’ that would allow the listener to drift away,” they explain.
